Video Hosting - Upload Video - Photo Sharing

Hey ppl, know its been a while since I updated, reason is bcuz I cudn't find a good asf join, split, converter... I had to find 1 cuz I cudn't upload the video in asf format to dropshots, which btw is a not bad video hosting site (stolen the idea 4m Smunc's blog, thx! :-P)... This is kinda dumb bcuz it says on the site it supports all kinds of video done by digital camera except mine which was asf, sigh... Anyway found 1 trial version then cracked it (yes I know I'm a baaaaaad boy) cuz the uncracked version had their logo in the middle of the video (-_-)" swt... nyway ere r the pics 4m the TC CNY Visitation, had to do some editing wif the photos cuz either the cameraman or the camera was lousy...I agree wif the latter 1 though...O n some pics might hav white dots while on display ere but in reality they dont if u click on it to c the full picture... the video might go blur if u scroll up n down so try to avoid that... dunno why all this is happening though...

B4 the CNY vistation nm happened... there is a few days which I got really frustrated and upset or more appopriately dissapointed... have u ever come close to achieving something but in the end it doesn't work out cuz of a few obstacles... mayb i shud'nt raise my hope to much sometimes, sigh...

O on another note my msn acc got hacked in I think, nothin serious juz saw some new names on my messenger list n coincidently one of them was Ai Hsian 4m Taman S.E.A, weird huh? Nyway I didn't change acc, juz changed the password...

A few days b4 vistation went out wif Lynn to 1u then M.V. Had lunch in 1u then went to get her contacts in M.V, it was hillarious seeing her struggling while wearing them but I wont go into much detail... watched Keeping Mum after that, it was funy but not that funny, it's the boring funny kinda type.... which isn't a good thing... after that something happened to her contacts which was more hillarious than the show but I wont go in to the details ere as well... use ur imagination folks ;-P, then went for dinner in Ming Tien...

After the TC CNY visitation, went straight to Lynn's hse 4 another visitation... whew it was quite tiring cuz I juz swam n it was raining n my mom was naggin argh... but manage to get there somehow... It was fun, got to c the lil' monster that Lynn was alwis tellin me bout but he was ok I quess, a lil hyperactive but ok... better than my bro... mayb I shud take Lynn's offer n trade brothers :-P jk... Joshua was creamin every1 in Monopoly... then had dinner in... Santai, I think thats the name... can't remember... but I disliked the Tomyam cuz in all my Tomyam eatin days I have neva tasted 1 like that!

Well thats all 4 the updates, whew hope this will hold 4 a few days or weeks :-P, well gtg BBall, will try 2 updated as spoon as possible!

Genesis And John, Related Much?

1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

3 And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and He separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light "day," and the darkness he called "night." And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.

I was goin through some bible study materials so I thought might as well update the blog by giving a very smal glimpse of what commentors thought of John's Gospel which is quite similar to Genesis from chapeter 1 verse 1-5.

John's opening in verse 1 echoes Genesis by starting with "In the begining...", however Genesis refers to the God's activity at the beginning of creation, whereas John tell us of a being who existed before creation took place as it was written "In the beginning the was the Word" or we can paraphrase it and say In the beginning the Word already was. So we actually start before the beginning, outside of time and space in eternity!

Continuing with verse 2 , both chapters speaks of creation. Genesis talks about God first creation on Earth, Light; John speaks of the word being an agent of creation which is much similar to Wisdom describe in Prov 8:22-31, the master worker at God's side at creation.

Interestingly verse 4-5 in both chapters speaks of Light. Genesis tell's us God's activity after creating Light, but whereas John speaks of "the light of men" which is life or more percisely "the Word", Jesus's, life. In this Gospel light always refers to the revelation and salvation that Jesus is and offers (cf. 8:12; 11:9 is the one exception).

So there you have it, two chapters that sounds similar but yet have very different meaning... What I've written here is more of a very Very short summary of the commentaries I've read, so if you want to know more, you could ask me but I suggest you read the commentary yourself, it would be a much bigger help...

I can't believe Im re-blogging again, since I've stoped like more than 3 times or so... Anyway instead of starting with the usual Genesis 1: 1-5 like I always have, I decided to use John 1:1-2 which is kinda similar but with a deeper meaning... I'll explain it some other time...
